Bridgerton BOOKS

In light of Netflix just announcing they’re bringing the show back for seasons 3 and 4, I thought I’d pop in and let you guys know I’ve read the entire series now. Actually, to be more accurate, I didn’t just read them. I devoured them.

I thought Simon was gonna be my favorite character and I was gonna be sad when he wasn’t the focus of Season 2, but when I say reading The Viscount Who Loved (Book 2) felt like the real start of the series, I’m not kidding. I don’t know if it’s just how I read it, but it felt like there was so much more to the story, and the relationships in it. I’ve started looking at book one like Quinn’s first pancake. The one that’s not quite right. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but the rest of the city is SOOOO much better.

Each book is a self contained story, but the characters cross over, so you can read them out of order, but you may get spoiled for the other relationships. I personally went a little out of order due to the wait for the books from Amazon. But I didn’t care, after Anthony’s book, I had to have the next one.

Looking back on the series as a whole, Anthony’s book would be my favorite, then Eloise’s book, Benedict, Colin and then the rest. They’re all so good, and while a little predictable after you’ve read three of them, they’re so worth the read. I highly recommend.
