If I wasn’t a writer, I’d want to be a Warehouse agent. Hell, writing or not, I want to be an agent of Warehouse 13. The adventures that those characters get into are intense and strange, but kind of awesome.
It is an older show so season one is a little lower quality, but if you hold out, it just gets better and better. With each mission, and each additional character, it just pulls you in. You can’t help but wonder at what piece of history they’ll find next.
There’s a phrase that is used often is “Endless Wonder”. The Warehouse is pure Endless Wonder, and it’s beautiful. Every shelf has something dangerous and magical. Things that stretch the imagination. Just thinking about it makes me sad the show got cancelled.
My favorite character is Claudia, played by Allison Scagliotti. Claudia is introduced in the fourth or fifth episode, and she’s got a dark past, but she’s got such a personality. It makes you want to be her friend. She’s a tech nerd, she plays the guitar, she sings, and she is SPUNKY. Her bond with Artie made that show for me.
