Let me start by saying, Im a sucker for a good romance angle. Yeah, the acting might not be the greatest, but I’ll still love it so long as you give me 2 characters I can root for.
The 2012 Beauty and the Beast tv show is a perfect example of that phenomena. Catherine and Vincent have got me binge watching season 1 right now, and I’m loving their dangerous romance. As a new take on the classic Beauty and the Beast story ots pretty good. Got a lot of potential.
I lost track of it a couple episodes in when it first came out, so It’s nice tp go back and see how they developed the story.
Its classic. A tough female cop with a tragic past gets rescued by a beast only discovery he’s more hunk than beast, and they set off on a journey of love, crime solving, and secrets wanting nothing more than to proect each other from the big bad military sicentists out to kill him.
Ive seen some pinterest posts about where the story ends up in terms of their relationship, but Im very curious to see how they get there. Guess we’ll see how it goes. Ill post an update or two as I watch!
